Construction Education Foundation of Alabama (CEFA)

ABC Sponsors Pre-Apprenticeship Training Across Alabama

ABC through its craft training arm the Construction Education Foundation of Alabama (CEFA) is sponsoring pre-apprenticeship training in the following locations:

  • Bevill State (Jasper)
  • Bishop State (Mobile)
  • Calhoun State (Athens)
  • Trenholm State (Montgomery)

This training is being paid for by a grant that will provide students with 150 hours of construction training in the following areas:

  • OSHA Safety Training
  • Construction Math
  • Introduction to Hand Tools
  • Introduction to Power Tools
  • Introduction to Construction Drawings
  • Basic Rigging
  • Communication Skills
  • Employability Skills
  • Materials Handling

After completion of the course material, students will have completed the first year of NCCER Curriculum Training and ready for construction employment with your company. For additional information please call CEFA at 205-956-0146.

CEFA offers classroom and hands-on laboratory training for craft workers in the following areas:

  • Plumbing
  • Sheet Metal
  • Pipefitting

Montgomery

Tuscaloosa

  • Electrical
  • Sheetmetal

Anniston

  • Electrical

Mobile

  • Masonry
